ING Product of the Week: SwingRite has staying power

By: MichaelJamison on 06/22/10 08:22 AM

If ever there was a golf training aid that was named properly, it is the SwingRite golf swing trainer.

SwingRite is one of the very few training aids that can assist golfers on various aspects of the swing as well as various types of shots – from a full swing drive down to a greenside chip shot.

“It is really simple to use, and you receive instant feedback from the SwingRite,” said Kate Whitney, President of the family-owned business near Boston. Her father Charles is the CEO.

This training tool, in existence since 1960, touches on four essential parts of the golf swing: Tempo, swing speed, hand release, and grip.

The key to SwingRite is sound. A “click” sound indicates when the clubhead is released during the swing. For the best golf shot, the “click” sound should occur in the impact zone. The key is to repeat the proper swing time and time again, developing the proper muscle memory. The “click” sound lets you know right away if you are producing the correct swing.

Because it is adjustable to swing speeds between 55 mph and 125 mph you can practice all types of swings from full swing to chip. The SwingRite can be used by men, women, and juniors of all levels.

The SwingRite can be utilized indoors or out. It's ideal for when there is no time to get out on the course or when the weather is bad. Since it can be used anywhere, at any moment, it provides a quick and easy way to reinforce muscle memory, a necessary aspect of improving and perfecting the golf swing.

Cost of the SwingRite is $149. For more information, visit www.swingrite.com, or call 866-660-7387.
