Maine takes you back Basics on a Golf Trip. Great Golf , Great Food, Great people and just the right pace. The State of Maine has always had a way to bring us all back to basics. A short ride from Boston takes you to one of New England's great old port cities Portland , Maine. Portland is a fantastic destination with a bustling waterfront and a cornucopia of music night life and waterfront festivities. From Portland venture south to So. Portland,Scarborough, Ogunquit and York. The accommodations range from some of the most unique and charming inns to full service hotels and yes for all you silver & gold awarders , there a great Marriott properties and Sable Oaks in South Portland and Wentworth by The Sea are two of the best.

A weekend of golf great food , wonderful people and great relaxing venues. Its Maine, New England Summer Golf at it's best, enjoy!! Don't forget the ice cream. Which bring up a great point. Why are there more ice cream shops in maine which has such a short summer season than many places around the country that have great weather year round? They just know how to celebrate life and summer a little better in Maine! Go east young man, Down East!!
