ezLocator releases new software application

By: James McAfee on 11/22/11 10:37 PM

Richardson, TX-based ezLocator has provided many superintendents, especially in North Texas, with a better system of managing green and hole locations. Now it has released its latest software application, v2, leveraging cloud-computing program that will enhance the delivery of its innovative software technology-based green and hole management solution.

“The new platform will allow us to provide more on-demand capabilities and be more responsive to our customers’ needs,” said Jon Schultz., President of ezLocator.

ezLocator’s innovative features include identifying and protecting trouble spots on the greens, providing multiple pin sheet templates, pin locations for tournaments or special events, views of the exact green shape and pin location, more accurate information for yardages to the pin and accurate records and history of hole locations used.

The latest satisfied superintendents are Brandon Goodyk of The Vaquero Club in Westlake and Kirt Phillips of the Dallas Country Club, joining the list from the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex that also includes the Brook Hollow Golf Club, Dallas Athletic Club, Dallas National Golf Club, The Honors Golf Club, Lantana Golf Club and Preston Trail Golf Club.

“We are very excited to add the prestigious Vaquero Club and Dallas Country Club to our growing customer list!” said Schultz.  “Both clubs found ezLocator easily integrates into their daily operations, improves their maintenance efficencies, and enhances their members’ experience.”

All golf facilities can benefit from the operational efficiencies that the ezLocator web interface application provides.  Superintendents can spend less than one hour a week managing the pin locations. It reduces time and labor costs, removes the possibility of errors in judgment, and speeds up the pin setting process.

“ezLocator definitely has streamlined our operations,” said Goodyk. “It’s quick and easy and frees up our staff to do other things. It does a great job of diversifying our hole locations, spreading them out and creating new ones. When our green speeds get over 10 or 11, we can identify places we can’t use and pinpoint pins that are fair and fun for our members.”

Other distinguished clubs using ezLocator are the Lost Dunes Golf Club in Michigan, Wade Hampton Golf Club in North Carolina, Westchester Country Club in New York, Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club and St. George’s Golf and Country Club in Canada and Austin Country Club in Texas.
